Bio

About 50% Italian-Iberian, 15% Irish-Scottish with pinches of Sephardic and Ashkenazi heritage, everything mixed within an African cauldron. Therefore, I’m the Hitler’s worst nightmare, and I love it.

I’m a writer and academic researcher who is currently dedicated to a double PhD at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and at the Università Ca’ Foscari (Venice, Italy). Although my British-Italian-Portuguese surnames and my so Russian name, I was born in Salvador, Bahia (Brazil) under the Xangô’s protection. Currently, I live in Venice.

If you are interested in my curriculum vitae, please check out my Lattes.

Transhumanism, ethical dilemmas regarding biotechnology, and space exploration settlements are my main research interests. I have a MPhil obtained in 2013 at the University of São Paulo. From Sky to Genes – Epistemic Transitions, Cosmological Anomalies and their Ethical Concerns is the title of my dissertation, which can be downloaded for free (for now only in Portuguese, sorry) from the USP Digital Library

Besides, I couldn’t help saying that I’m the proud father of a lady cat. Look at her. Isn’t she beautiful?
