About 50% Italian-Iberian, 15% Irish-Scottish with pinches of Sephardic and Ashkenazi heritage, everything mixed within an African cauldron. Therefore, I’m the Hitler’s worst nightmare, and I love it.
I’m a writer and academic researcher who is currently dedicated to a double PhD at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and at the Università Ca’ Foscari (Venice, Italy). Although my British-Italian-Portuguese surnames and my so Russian name, I was born in Salvador, Bahia (Brazil) under the Xangô’s protection. Currently, I live in Venice.

Transhumanism, ethical dilemmas regarding biotechnology, and space exploration settlements are my main research interests. I have a MPhil obtained in 2013 at the University of São Paulo. From Sky to Genes – Epistemic Transitions, Cosmological Anomalies and their Ethical Concerns is the title of my dissertation, which can be downloaded for free (for now only in Portuguese, sorry) from the USP Digital Library
Throughout 2015, during the administration of the Minister Renato Janine Ribeiro, I acted as his special adviser.
From 2009 to 2012, I studied astrophysics at USP-Brazil (incomplete course). My main interests are astrobiology and exoplanets.
During my grad, I followed two summer schools of astrobiology in Spain organised by the Universidad Menendez Pelayo in partnership with NASA: Origins of Building Blocks of Life (2012) and Mars Exploration: Unveiling a Habitable Planet (2011).
